Returns Policy 

 

Returns

 

All equipment provided through BLAX Equipment has a 12 month guarantee against manufacturers defects. Commercial parts, accessories and consumables carry a 90 day manufacturers warranty, exclusive of fair wear and tear. All return inquiries must be submitted through the returns form. The cost of returning a faulty item to us is to be paid by the customer. We will cover any return delivery cost to you.

 

Please note that we will not, as a standard matter of course, offer a refund or exchange if you have changed your mind or chosen incorrectly. Please ensure that you select your products carefully and that they are compatible with your requirements prior to buying. If you would like some advice we are available to assist you with your selection. In the event that we agree to accept a return outside of faults or warranty it will attract a 15% (of invoice value) or $50 restocking fee (whichever is greater) at our discretion. Return freight cost/tracking back to an address of our choosing will be the responsibility of the buyer.

 

Please don’t return items to BLAX Equipment prior to completing this process. Warranty issues may be handled directly by the manufacturers' NZ agents, you will be advised if this is the case upon submitting a return request.

 

Procedures
There are two options available for our customers who would like to return a product:

 

Faulty product repair:
If the items sold can be repaired in order to meet its quality specifications as per above, our manufacturers' agents maintain the right to repair.

 

Request for the repair or replacement of the faulty item(s) must be submitted using our returns form. (Click to download)

 

Faulty product replacement:
If a product is not meeting its quality specifications, and cannot be repaired, we may offer to replace it for another one or another product of the same value. Proof of purchase is required in order to get a replacement. The NZ manufacturers' agents will determine if the product is faulty and they will be responsible for the replacement of the item. 

 

Warranties are for the original purchaser and non transferable.

 

We are always open to reasonable requests and will do our best to assist if we are able, if you would like to discuss anything in person please get in touch.

 

Shipping

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full Kg.

 

Bulky Items

 

Generally items weighing more than 25Kg or are longer than 2m in length are considered Bulky Items and will be shipped to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for collection
